 I am Izak Vos a licensed and registered Professional Hunter in South Africa and founder of  Vos Safaris.

I am born in South Africa in a hunting family. I am living in South Africa and I started hunting in my early childhood by accompanying my father.

Since that time I became passionate about hunting and made it my profession with meanwhile 20+ years of hunting and guiding experience in several Southern African countries where I hunted and guided clients on the Big 5, Dangerous 7 as well as most of the Plains Game.

Vos Safaris is an independent outfitter and hunting company in South Africa that offers you customized and tailored hunting safaris according your requests and requirements. Whether it should be a self-catering natural bush experience or a luxury 5-star all-inclusive accommodation. Your choice and we organize and arrange it.

We have several locations, farms and opportunities where we can hunt all eligible and legally allowed game species of the Big 5, Dangerous 7 and for sure as well an abundance of Plains Game.

Hunting with rifle or bow & arrow is possible and is done by walk and stalk or from ground-, pit- or elevated blinds.

You can travel and hunt with your own rifle or we can make available a rifle and ammunition for rent during your stay. Regarding bow & arrow please bring your own equipment.

According the recommended rifle and caliber or bow and arrow combination please let us know up front what you intend to hunt so that we can give you a suggestion respectively recommendation.
